Apply NowAn established food production company based in Birmingham require an experienced packaging supervisor.
Duties:
* Supervising eight people on a packaging / production line.
* Deputising for the shift manager and supporting the packaging manager in the supervision and development of the packaging team.
* Monitoring materials and stock using the SAP system.
* Ensuring the lines run as efficiently as possible avoiding unnecessary downtime.
* Complete daily department paperwork accurately.
* Reporting faults and maintaining a safe working environment.
Requirements:
* Packaging / production line supervisory experience.
* Team leader skills.
* Knowledge of SAP.
* Basic IT skills.
* Food and hygiene training an advantage.
Hours:
* Rotating shifts: 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm and 10pm to 6am Monday to Friday.
This is a permanent position
