Apply NowWe are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading food manufacturing company, for a dependable and detail-focused Packing Operative. This role is key to ensuring products are packed and prepared to the highest standards, while maintaining a safe, clean, and organised workspace.
Hours Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.30pm
Pay rate £12.71 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately pack and prepare food products for dispatch
* Select the correct components for production by reading and following job sheets
* Work efficiently on a conveyor line or independently, maintaining speed without compromising quality
* Inspect products for quality and make adjustments as required
* Keep the packing and shop floor clean and hygienic at all times
* Comply with all health, safety, and food hygiene procedures
What We’re Looking For:
* Reliable, punctual, and committed to a strong work ethic
* High attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination
* Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* Organised with effective time management skills
* Clear communication skills and a positive attitude
