Apply NowWe are working with a fantastic accident repair centre based in Sidcup. They are currently in need of a Paint Technician.
The hours would be Monday to Friday 8am-5pm.
Responsibilities:
* Paint work to damaged vehicles in workshop for repair
* Use Water Based Products
* Checking Paint Colour
* Spray out card for all colours
* Set up oven temperature/time
* Set air pressure
* Applying filler/stoppers
* Paint preparation
* Roller/spray priming
* Complete quality check sheet
* Paint work as per job card
* Paint mixing
* Paint mixing rooms cleaning
* Use extraction at all times
* Full face air-fed mask and overalls to be worn
* Use correct fillers for repair
* Plastic repairs
* Ordering paint with parts when needed
* Check Operations Manual for repair systems/filler application
* Liaising with other departments
Report any problems to Workshop Controller
