The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Painter & Decorator to join a well-established property maintenance team, delivering high-quality work across a portfolio of residential properties.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in their work and is confident working across a variety of properties, maintaining exceptional standards of finish and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out interior and exterior painting and decorating works
* Prepare surfaces and apply finishes to walls, doors, skirting, and woodwork
* Hang and line wallpaper to a high standard
* Complete French polishing where required
* Work alongside other trades to ensure a high-quality final finish
* Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations
* Participate in a seasonal shift and on-call rota
Requirements
* NVQ or City & Guilds in Painting & Decorating
* Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and application techniques
* Good understanding of health & safety and COSHH regulations
* Ability to work at height and safely use ladders/scaffolding
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
