Painter & Decorator – High-End Residential

Location: Oxfordshire / Buckinghamshire

Rate: £150 – £180 per day

Sector: Luxury Residential Construction

The Opportunity

We are recruiting for a leading high-end residential contractor that specializes in bespoke renovations and luxury new builds. This client is synonymous with quality, and they are looking for a Painter & Decorator who shares their passion for a flawless finish.

This is not "volume" painting; we are looking for a decorator who understands the nuances of working with high-quality materials and designer finishes in prestigious private homes.

The Role

Working on high-spec projects, you will be responsible for the internal and external transformation of luxury properties.

Key Responsibilities:

*

Preparation: Extensive and meticulous surface preparation (sanding, filling, and masking) to ensure a perfect base.

*

Application: High-quality brush and roller work, ensuring sharp lines and even coverage.

*

Specialist Finishes: Experience with high-end paints (e.g., Farrow & Ball, Little Greene) and potentially wallpaper hanging to a professional standard.

*

Protection: Ensuring all flooring and furniture are expertly protected and maintaining a tidy workspace at all times.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

*

Experience: A strong background in painting and decorating within high-end residential or heritage properties.

*

Eye for Detail: The ability to spot and rectify the smallest imperfections.

*

Tools: Your own full set of professional decorating tools (brushes, rollers, scrapers, and ideally dustless sanding equipment).

*

Professionalism: You must be punctual, well-presented, and respectful of working within a client’s private residence.

*

Logistics: A valid UK driving license and your own reliable transport.

Why Apply?

*

Competitive Pay: £150 – £180 per day (negotiable based on experience/finish).

*

Prestige Work: The opportunity to work on some of the region’s most impressive architectural projects.

*

Long-term Pipeline: Consistent work with a contractor that rewards reliability and high standards
