Panel Wirer / Electrical Assembler Location: Burgess Hill Salary: £13-£17.50 per hour (depending on umbrella / holiday pay) Hours: Monday to Friday - flexible depending on project requirements The Role We are looking for a skilled and adaptable Panel Wirer to join a busy and varied electrical production environment in Burgess Hill. The work is diverse, ranging from wiring control panels to installing industrial cables, with projects changing daily depending on customer requirements. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on electrical assembly and wants a role with variety and responsibility. Purpose of the Role As a Panel Wirer, you will play a key role in assembling, wiring, and testing electrical panels and systems. You will work from technical drawings and specifications, ensuring accurate wiring, high quality, and adherence to safety standards. Key Responsibilities Wire and assemble control panels, electrical units, and industrial systems Install and terminate cables according to diagrams and specifications Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and effectively Follow technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and build instructions Carry out checks and testing to ensure quality and functionality Adapt to varied projects including rail, industrial, or control panel wiring Work to production schedules while maintaining focus on quality and safety Profile Proven experience in panel wiring, electrical assembly, or a similar hands-on role Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical instructions Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and basic testing equipment Flexible and adaptable with a willingness to work on varied projects Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Team-oriented with a positive and proactive attitude What's on Offer Varied and interesting work with different projects every day Competitive hourly rate £13-£17.50 depending on umbrella / holiday pay Opportunity to work on both panel wiring and cable installation projects Supportive and friendly working environment Immediate start for the right candidate Long-term opportunities and career development potential How to Apply If this role sounds like the right fit, please contact Aastha Khurana on (phone number removed) or send your CV to .
