Paralegal Corporate London
We are working with a highly regarded, City based law firm in London, known for its strength in corporate law, acting for a high quality and diverse client base including private companies, investors and international organisations.
The firm is seeking a Corporate Paralegal to support a busy and well-established Corporate team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and commercially minded Paralegal to gain hands-on experience within a high performing and fast paced environment.
The Firm
The Corporate Paralegal will join a law firm that offers a collaborative and high performing working culture, surrounded by experienced corporate professionals. The Role
The Corporate team advises on a wide range of matters including mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, corporate governance and general company law. You will work closely with Partners and Associates, providing key support across a varied and busy caseload.
The role will include:
Supporting fee earners on a range of corporate transactions
Assisting with mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and document review
Preparing and organising data rooms
Drafting and reviewing corporate documents, including board minutes and resolutions
Conducting legal research on corporate matters
Liaising with clients, investors and external advisors
Managing case files and ensuring accurate document management
Supporting with completions and post-completion tasks, including Companies House filingsThe Corporate Paralegal
You will be an organised and commercially aware individual with a strong interest in corporate law and transactional work. You will be comfortable working in a fast paced environment and managing multiple deadlines.
The Corporate Paralegal will have:
Previous experience as a Paralegal, ideally within Corporate law or a transactional practice area
A strong academic background in law
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
The ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast paced environment
