Part-Time Cover Supervisor / Stoke-on-Trent / ASAP Start / Ongoing Opportunities Are you confident leading a classroom? Are you passionate in supporting young people with their learning? Academics is working with a network of secondary schools across Staffordshire & Cheshire East, including Stoke-on-Trent, Stafford and Crewe, who are seeking enthusiastic and reliable part-time Cover Supervisors to step into the classroom and deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the class teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or anyone with management experience working with young people who is looking to gain valuable classroom experience in a flexible role. The Role: Lead lessons in teacher's absence (KS3-KS4) Deliver work that has already been prepared for you Keep pupils engaged and behaviour on track Complete a simple handover at the end of the lesson No planning or marking What We're Looking For: 2+ months' experience working with young people Sports Coaching or Youth Work Drama / Art / Music Workshops Summer Camps / Holiday Clubs Scouts / Guides / Duke of Edinburgh Outdoor Activity Instruction Strong communication and management skills Confidence to manage classroom behaviour! Ability to build positive relationships and set clear boundaries A flexible, reliable and proactive attitude Why Join Academics?
