Part Time Purchase Ledger Clerk
Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to support their finance team. You will ensure suppliers are paid accurately and on time, handle queries, and maintain smooth day-to-day accounts payable operations.
Key Responsibilities
Process invoices and credit notes
Set up supplier accounts
Reconcile statements and prepare payments
Process bank payments (fast/next-day)
Handle invoice queries and maintain accurate records
Support contra payments with the sales ledger
Skills & Experience
Previous purchase ledger/accounts experience
Knowledge of Sage or similar systems advantageous
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and email skills
Well organised, reliable, and able to meet deadlines
Basic IT skills and good numeracy/literacy
Forwarding/logistics experience is desirable
