Parts Manager
Location: Colchester

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Parts Manager to join a well-established and highly respected business within the agricultural and commercial equipment sector.

Working as part of a collaborative aftersales team, you’ll lead the day-to-day running of the parts department, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and an outstanding customer experience at every stage.

The Role As Parts Manager, you will:

Oversee the smooth day-to-day operation of the parts department
Lead and support a Parts Advisor, providing guidance and direction where needed
Manage stock control processes, ensuring accuracy, organisation, and availability
Process orders, returns, and maintain up-to-date system records
Handle customer enquiries professionally, both over the phone and in person
Maintain high standards of customer service and build strong client relationships
Ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time
Monitor, investigate, and report any stock discrepanciesAbout You We’re keen to speak with candidates who bring:

Previous experience in a Parts Manager or Senior Parts Advisor role (automotive, agricultural, or similar industry)
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Confidence using computer systems and stock management platforms
A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
A genuine commitment to delivering exceptional customer serviceWhat’s on Offer
Competitive salary of £35,000 – £45,000 (depending on experience)
Full-time role: 42.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Occasional Saturday mornings as required
