£27,500 – £30,000 DOE
We’re hiring an experienced Accounts Receivable / Payments Allocation Clerk to join a fast-paced finance team in Stockport. If you thrive in fast-paced finance environments and enjoy solving payment discrepancies, reconciling accounts, and keeping financial data accurate under pressure, this role is built for you.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for processing invoices, allocating payments, reconciling accounts, and resolving payment queries. You’ll also support direct debit runs and ensure all transactions are accurate and completed within deadlines.
What You’ll Need
* Experience in accounts receivable, cash allocation, or credit control is essential
* Confident with Excel and Microsoft Office
* Strong attention to detail and organisation
* Comfortable handling high volumes of financial data and reconciliations
* Good communication skills and a proactive approach
* AAT Level 2 (desirable, not essential)
* Full UK Driving Licence
