Location: Westhoughton, Bolton
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Hours: 34.5 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday, 9:00am – 5:00pm and Friday, 9:00am – 1:30pm

We are seeking a Payroll Administrator / Payroll Co-ordinator to join our friendly and supportive team based in Westhoughton, Bolton.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional or a strong administrator looking to develop a career in payroll. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the accurate and timely processing of payroll while ensuring employee records and time and attendance information are maintained to a high standard.

We are looking for someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Support the end-to-end processing of weekly payrolls, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.

* Process and maintain employee payroll records, including starters, leavers, contractual changes, and absences.

* Manage and maintain Time & Attendance (T&A) data and resolve any discrepancies.

* Liaise with managers and employees regarding payroll queries and provide excellent customer service.

* Ensure payroll data is accurate and compliant with company policies and relevant legislation.

* Produce payroll reports and support payroll reconciliations where required.

* Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information appropriately.

* Support continuous improvements to payroll processes and administrative procedures.

* Assist with general payroll administration and other ad hoc duties as required.
