Payroll Assistant
The business will offer open plan working environment, onsite parking and a supportive manager. Reporting directly to the payroll manager, who encourages development and on the job training.
Duties
• Prepare and process weekly and monthly payroll
• Process all aspects of the payroll, including HMRC starter checklists and P45s
• Statutory Payments – SMP, SSP, SPP, ShPP, SAP
• Chasing timesheets
Person Spec
• Experience with PAYE and CIS
• Ability to calculate manual tax, NI and Pension
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Confident to deal with pay queries and liaise with third parties
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Intermediate Excel – Pivot tables and lookups
