Payroll Manager
Job description:
We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Payroll Manager to provide maternity cover for a period of 6–9 months. The role is based onsite in Cheshire East and will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process for a workforce of approximately 40–50 employees.
The Payroll Manager will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, maintain compliance with HMRC regulations, and act as the key point of contact for payroll-related queries from employees and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
Manage and process payroll for 40–50 employees
Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and HMRC requirements
Handle payroll queries and provide support to employees
Maintain accurate payroll records and reportingAbout you:
Proven experience in a payroll management role
Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Ability to work onsite in Cheshire East
