As a Payroll Officer, you will play a key role within a supportive and dynamic payroll team, delivering accurate and timely payroll services to a wide range of clients across multiple sectors. Key Responsibilities
Managing an allocated portfolio of client payrolls, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Processing starters, leavers, statutory payments, and pension contributions
Handling payroll queries and providing excellent client service
Supporting senior team members with complex payroll matters
Ensuring all payroll deadlines are met
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation and best practice
About You
Previous experience in a payroll role, ideally within a bureau or accountancy practice
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A team player who enjoys working collaboratively
Experience using STAR payroll software is highly desirable
A willingness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges
