Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Gateshead. This school is committed to academic excellence while placing strong emphasis on resilience, teamwork, and a positive work ethic.
This role would include:
Maintaining an optimal working environment for students to succeed
Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging PE lessons to KS3-KS5
Building rapport with students and colleagues to ensure the best chance of success
Assessing student progress and utilising opportunities to improve performances
An ideal candidate would have:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Related degree (preferred but not required)
Previous teaching experience within a secondary school
Excellent communication skills
Ability to manage classroom environment for optimal student progression
