People Advisor
Our client is a well-established organisation dedicated to delivering an exceptional employee experience across a diverse workforce. They are seeking a proactive People Advisor to join their People team, providing operational support and guidance across a broad range of people-related activities.
Based in Southampton, paying up to £38,000 alongside an excellent range of company benefits, this is absolutely not an opportunity to be missed.
What you'll do as a People Advisor:
Provide advice and support to managers and employees on a range of HR policies, procedures, and people-related matters
Support the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, contractual changes, family leave, and absence management
Act as a first point of contact for HR queries, delivering a professional and responsive service
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR systems are updated and managed effectively
Produce and analyse people-related reports, identifying trends and highlighting areas for action
Support HR Business Partners with employee relations matters and wellbeing initiatives
Assist with the preparation of management information, reports, and documentation
Build strong working relationships across the organisation to support the delivery of HR services
Contribute to HR projects and initiatives that support the wider people strategy
The ideal candidate:
Previous experience within a generalist HR or People Advisor role
CIPD Level 3 desirable
Strong understanding of HR processes and the employee lifecycle
Excellent administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail
Strong communication skills at all levels
Experience advising managers or stakeholders on HR policies and procedures
Confident using HR systems and Microsoft Office packages
Ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively
A proactive and collaborative approach with a genuine passion for delivering excellent service
