Performing Arts Specialist / Crewe / ASAP Start / Fixed-Term Contract

Are you a Performing Arts Specialist seeking flexibility in your routine with a part-time role?

Academics are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established secondary school in the Cheshire East area, towards the Crewe area, for a Performing Arts Specialist who is also open to delivering general cover when required.

This is a part-time role on a 2-week timetable, making it a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and adaptable teacher seeking flexibility with an immediate start, structured as follows:

Week 1: Tuesday & Thursday
Week 2: Monday, Wednesday & Friday

The Role:

General cover across a range of subjects
Delivering Drama to Key Stage 3
Supporting students in maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment
Following school policies and ensuring continuity of learning

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience teaching Drama at primarily KS3 level
Strong classroom management skills
A flexible and proactive approach to cover teaching
A genuine passion for education and supporting student progress
