An innovative deep-tech start-up developing next-generation computing hardware for autonomous and edge systems is seeking a Senior Embedded Engineer. You’ll play a key role in shaping architecture, driving digital design from concept to tape-out, and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
Role Requirements:
* Design and simulate silicon photonics integrated circuits, including passive and active components
* Use advanced EDA tools (such as Ansys)
* Execute optical and electrical simulations
Required Experience:
* Solid understanding of optical wave propagation, semiconductor physics, and IC design principles
* Experience designingphotonics ICs
* Experience with photonic device characterisation and testing is advantageous
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
