Picker Packer

gap personnel is recruiting for an experienced Picker Packer for our client's busy distribution warehouse in Wickford. This role requires a high level of dexterity, accuracy and strong attention to detail, working at pace with heavy lifting.

Role: Picker Packer

Location: Wickford SS11 - Own transport is required, due to location, and limited bus routes.

Hours: Mon - Fri 08.00-17.00

pay: £12.71

Duties:-

Picking and packing orders from pick lists, across various departments to a high standard

Locating stock using location codes

General warehouse maintenance (keeping stock locations clear and tidy)

Weighing and counting large quantities of stock

Labelling, Packing and palletising orders ready for dispatch

Checking orders for accuracy

Communicating with other departments

Stripping pallets

Other general warehouse duties as required

Skills & Experience:-

Previous picker/packer experience

Good communication skills

Strong attention to detail

Ability to routinely lift boxes up to 25kg

Comfortable using ladders

Able to work in a fast-paced environment
