Are you an experienced engineer with a passion for mechanical equipment?
CNC Recruitment is seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter to join our client based in the Mid Devon district

Location: Tiverton
Role Type: Field-based
Contract: Permanent, 40 hours per week
Salary: £32,000–£36,000 per annum (paid overtime available)

Key Responsibilities

Assist with and carry out commercial biomass boiler installations and project work nationwide

Provide technical support to Treco operations staff

Complete detailed snagging lists and commissioning reports

Assist with compiling parts lists where required

Diagnose faults and attend breakdowns

Build and supervise boiler installations

Produce detailed breakdown reports with recommended actions and required parts

Ensure all installation work is carried out in accordance with issued design drawings, documenting any deviations

Undertake pre-commissioning checks as required

Provide technical support to customers via telephone and on-site visits

Carry out meter changes in line with RHI/Ofgem requirements, including supporting documentation and images

Service and maintain boilers as required

Accurately assess labour and parts required for servicing and repairs

Conduct risk assessments for all site visits

Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations

Supervise junior staff where applicable

Maintain a professional and positive representation of the Treco Group

Complete timesheets, expense forms, and mandatory training

Follow company processes and procedures

Maintain company vehicles and tools in good working order

Work away from home during the week when required

Essential Skills & Experience

* Previous experience in a similar role

* Mechanical or electrical engineering background

* Proficient in Microsoft Office

* Good written and spoken English

* Full UK driving licence

Desirable Skills & Qualifications

* Welding experience

* IPAF and/or PASMA licence

* Biomass boiler experience
