Plant Mechanic

Job Title: Plant Mechanic / Fitter Location: Bury, BL9 Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm Pay: £16 - £22 per hour DOE About the Role: We are looking for an experienced and dependable Plant Mechanic/Fitter to join our team in Bury. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining a range of plant machinery and equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation. In order to apply for this job you MUST have the following: Requirements: * Proven experience as a Plant Mechanic or Fitter. * Strong understanding of plant machinery, hydraulics, and mechanical systems. * Ability to work independently and within a team. * Full UK driving licence and access to own transport. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: * Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on plant equipment. * Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues promptly and effectively. * Work to high standards in line with health and safety regulations. * Keep accurate maintenance and repair records. * Support team members and contribute to a safe, productive workplace.
