Plasterer Multi – Damp & Mould Specialists Location: Birmingham Duration: 12-Week Contract Rate: Standard hourly rate The Role We are looking for four experienced Plasterers to join a dedicated Damp & Mould task force in Birmingham. This 12-week contract focuses on high-quality remedial works within social housing, ensuring residents' homes are brought back to a safe and professional standard. Key Responsibilities * Specialist Remediation: Carrying out damp-proof treatments and mould remediation. * Thermal Boarding: Installing thermal insulation boards to prevent future condensation and heat loss (essential). * Plastering & Finishing: Providing high-standard skimming and rendering to a "paint-ready" finish. * Multi-Trade Tasks: basic tiling, decorative touch-ups, or minor carpentry related to the repair. Requirements * Experience: Proven track record in damp/mould remediation and thermal boarding. * Multi-Skilled: Ability to secondary-trade (plumbing/tiling/carpentry) is highly advantageous.. * Qualification: NVQ Level 2 in Plastering or significant time-served experience.
