We are recruiting for an experienced Plater / Welder to work for our client who are in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
THE DUTIES OF A PLATER / FABRICATOR:
* Reading engineering drawings
* MIG welding on mild steel components to engineering specifications
* Prepare materials prior to welding, including cutting, grinding, and cleaning
* Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality and structural standards
* Work closely with fabricators and other team members to meet production deadlines
* Use welding equipment and tools safely and correctly
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
* Follow all health and safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a welder in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
* Competence in MIG welding
* Excellent communication skills
THE HOURS:
Monday – Thursday 6am - 2.30pm / Friday 6am-1pm
THE PAY:
You will earn between £17.50-£18.25 per hour
