Playworker

We are looking for a Playworker to support during lunchtime at a primary school in Kingstanding.

This is not a supervisory role — we’re looking for someone who will actively engage with children, encourage play, and help create a positive and inclusive environment.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:30am – 1:20pm

The role:
• Supporting children during lunchtime through play and interaction
• Encouraging positive behaviour and inclusion
• Organising and joining in games and activities
• Ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all pupils

We’re looking for someone who:
• Enjoys working with children and is naturally engaging
• Is energetic, proactive, and approachable
• Can build positive relationships quickly
• Has experience working with children (school, childcare, or similar)
• Understands the importance of safeguarding

Requirements:
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one)
• Right to work in the UK
• References covering the last 2 years

This role is ideal for parents or anyone looking for part-time hours within the school day.
