Plumber / Multi Trader / Bathroom Fitter – Professional

Devon & Cornwall | Full-Time
Sands & Vossen are expanding and are now recruiting experienced Plumber / Multi Trader / Bathroom Fitter/ Bathroom Fitters to join our growing core team.
We specialise in high-quality bathroom and wet room installations across private homes and high-end holiday properties. Our reputation is built on craftsmanship, professionalism, and attention to detail — and we are now extending that same standard to our employment opportunities.
The Role
You will work closely with the Company Director, delivering complete bathroom installations to precise specifications.
Key responsibilities include:
* On-site induction with the Company Director
* Working from approved layouts and designs
* Full strip-out of existing bathrooms and identification of structural issues
* 1st fix plumbing ready for tiling and test
* Potentially Studwork and plasterboarding ready for tiling
* Tanking wet areas (BW1 tanking system)
* Floor preparation ready for tiling
* Ceiling preparation using Gritgrit adhesion solution
* Painting and decorating of ceilings, walls, and woodwork
* Second-fix installation of bathroom fixtures and fittings
* Liaising with the Director regarding additional works or improvements
* Contributing to efficient working methods and exceptional finish quality
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Plumbing / Multi Trader / Bathroom Fitting
* Strong carpentry and finishing knowledge
* Confident with hand and power tools
* Ability to work accurately and independently
* High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
* Professional, reliable, and customer-focused
Self Employed Structure
Self-employed initially with a minimum 6 months of secured, rolling work
Option to move to employed PAYE role following a successful period
£46,000 per year salary
Bonus Scheme
Employed package (offered to the right candidate):
* £40,000 per year salary
* Performance-based bonuses
* 20 days holiday + bank holidays, increasing with service
* Long-term security and progression within the business
* Bonus Scheme
* Pension Scheme
* After Probation; Potential Rise to £42,500.00 & Company Branded Written Van
Pay & Hours
£18.00 per hour (Employed) or £21.00 per hour (self-employed)
42.5 hours per week (08:00–17:00)
Optional Saturday work available
