Job Title: PMLD Teacher (Temp) Area: Rochdale, Greater Manchester Start Date: Monday 23rd March 2026 Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary Salary: £220 - £300 per day (dependent on experience) Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm About the role: Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher with experience supporting students with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD)? We are looking for a dedicated PMLD Teacher to work with students across KS2, KS3, and KS4, supporting them to achieve their developmental milestones and EHCP outcomes. The role involves close collaboration with support staff, parents/carers, and other professionals to provide a consistent and holistic approach to learning. Key Responsibilities: Deliver tailored lessons to pupils with PMLD Plan and differentiate engaging lessons to meet EHCP outcomes and developmental milestones Work closely with support staff and parents/carers to ensure a consistent and supportive learning environment Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and safe learning space where every student can thrive What We're Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience teaching in an SEN setting (or strong SEN knowledge within a mainstream environment) A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach to classroom management Passion for inclusive education and a commitment to nurturing every child's progress To be eligible you must: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service OR be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
