Careermakers Recruitment are looking for a Skilled Powder Coaters for our ever-growing client based in the heart of Normanton, WF6. Key Responsibilities * Prepare products for powder coating, including surface preparation and final checks. * Apply powder coatings using spray equipment to achieve consistent, high-quality finishes. * Set up, operate, and maintain powder coating equipment. * Load and unload parts safely onto coating lines or racks. * Inspect coated products to ensure they meet company quality standards. * Monitor coating thickness, coverage, and finish quality. * Support production schedules and work efficiently to meet deadlines. * Maintain a clean, organised, and safe paint shop environment. * Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow within the department. Candidate Requirements * Proven experience as a powder coater or in a similar paint shop environment. * Strong practical skills and a keen eye for detail. * Ability to achieve consistent, high-quality finishes. * Knowledge of powder coating equipment and processes. * Flexible, reliable, and willing to work overtime when required. * Positive, can-do attitude and ability to work as part of a team. * Commitment to health, safety, and quality standards. Working hours will be Monday - Friday 7am - 3.30pm, with a pay rate of £14.50 - £15.50 per hour depending on experience.
