Are you a Power Project Engineer with experience working on substations as part of National Grid projects?   Do you possess the Earthing Control Person (ECP), Earthing Application Person (EAP), and LVAP qualifications?   Rate: Dependent on Experience IR35: Inside/UMBRELLA Location: Bridgwater, South West England Contract Length: 6 months (with possibility of extension)   A leading contractor is seeking a Power Project Engineer to join a major 400/132kV substation project supporting a wider infrastructure development, including a data centre and EV battery manufacturing facility.   The project has recently mobilised and is currently in its early stages, with initial works focused on site setup and civil engineering activities. The overall programme is expected to run until 2029. As a Power Project Engineer, you will initially be involved in coordinating heavy civils works before progressing into a broader, full lifecycle project engineering role. You will be responsible for overseeing multiple work packages, ensuring effective coordination across disciplines, and maintaining a clear view of the overall project objectives. Essential: Strong experience working on substation projects and be confident operating within complex, multidisciplinary environments. Earthing Control Person (ECP), Earthing Application Person (EAP), and LVAP certifications. Demonstrable experience working on National Grid projects and achieving the associated qualifications is essential
