Powered Access Engineer
We are currently seeking a skilled Mobile Powered Access Engineer to cover the UK . In this role, you will be responsible for the service, refurbishment, repair, and maintenance of powered access equipment at customer sites.
This is a customer-facing position where delivering a high level of service is essential. You will attend both scheduled maintenance visits and emergency breakdown callouts, ensuring equipment remains safe, reliable, and fully operational.
Key Responsibilities
* Service, maintain, and repair powered access equipment on-site
* Carry out fault finding and diagnostics efficiently
* Respond to breakdowns and emergency callouts
* Accurately assess and estimate required repairs
* Ensure all equipment meets safety and compliance standards
* Deliver excellent customer service at all times
Requirements
* Ideally CAP registered
* Previous experience working with powered access equipment (e.g. Niftylift, Skyjack, Genie, JLG)
* Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills
* Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics
* Proven engineering experience within the powered access industry
* High attention to detail when assessing and estimating repairs
* Ability to contribute to wider team and ESG objectives
