Pre‑School Room Leader - Yeovil Permanent | Full Time | £12.96 per hour Prospero Teaching is working in partnership with a welcoming and well‑established nursery in Yeovil, who are looking to appoint an experienced and passionate Pre‑School Room Leader on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an early years professional who is ready to take the next step in their career and lead a Pre‑School room within a supportive and nurturing setting. Role Details Position: Pre‑School Room Leader Location: Yeovil Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 Pay: £12.96 per hour Contract: Permanent, full‑time Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the day‑to‑day running of the Pre‑School room Plan and deliver engaging, age‑appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework Support and mentor team members, promoting best practice at all times Monitor children's development and maintain accurate observations and assessments Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment Build positive relationships with parents, carers and colleagues Ensure all safeguarding, health & safety and nursery policies are followed The Ideal Candidate Will Have A Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) Previous experience working within a Pre‑School or early years setting Experience in a leadership or senior role (or be ready to step up) Strong knowledge of the EYFS Excellent communication and organisational skills A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development Enchanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one) What the Nursery Offers Competitive hourly rate of £12.96 per hour Stable, permanent position within a supportive team Opportunities for professional development and progression A positive, child‑centred working environment📩 Interested?
