Vehicle Paint Prepper – Bedford
Pay: £17.50 per hour
Job Type: Temp to Perm (6 Month Contract → Permanent Opportunity)
Location: Bedford
Hours: Monday to Friday (Overtime Available)

HP4 Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Paint Prepper / Car Prepper / Paint Technician / Bodyshop Prepper to join a busy and fast-paced bodyshop in Bedford. This is a temp to perm opportunity, offering a 6-month contract with the potential to secure a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare vehicles for paint including sanding, masking, filling, and priming

* Carry out paint preparation and panel preparation to a high standard

* Ensure surfaces are ready for spray painting / refinishing

* Identify and rectify minor defects prior to painting

* Work efficiently to meet bodyshop deadlines and targets

* Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Vehicle Prepper / Paint Prepper / Bodyshop Prepper

* Strong skills in sanding, masking, and paint preparation

* Experience working in a bodyshop, accident repair centre, or automotive workshop

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

* Good attention to detail and quality standards
