Connect Appointments is recruiting a Press Brake Operative to join an established Oldham-based manufacturer on a permanent basis. Our client is an innovative manufacturing business producing specialist products across a range of sectors, including pharmaceutical, telecoms and food infrastructure. What's on offer? A four-day working week, Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm £12.21 to £15.00 per hour, dependent on experience Full-time permanent positionAs a Press Brake Operative, your duties will include: Setting and operating the press brake machine safely, efficiently and effectively Monitoring quality, accuracy, yield and waste at regular intervals to ensure optimum production Identifying sub-standard production, making necessary programming adjustments and reporting to your supervisor Working as part of a close-knit team on a varied range of manufacturing projects Using your own initiative to maintain quality and efficiency throughout the shiftThe ideal Press Brake Operative will have: Previous experience operating a press brake machine A keen eye for detail and a quality-focused approach to production The ability to work both independently and as part of a team A positive, proactive attitudeInterested?
