Job description

We are looking for a Brake Press Setter/Operator to join our team.

- This role involves working as part of our production team to deliver high quality components, mainly for the rail industries, with a right first time philosophy

- The candidate must have previous experience working with Amada brake presses.

- The successful candidate will have to demonstrate that they can produce components from drawing / planning route cards to the highest quality, and within the routed time

- Show a proactive and innovative approach to supporting the team, thrive on problem solving and have a natural desire to contribute to continuous improvement within the team

- Must be able to interpret technical drawings and use hand held inspection equipment such as height gauges and vernier calipers
