Primary School Teacher

EYFS / KS1 PPA Teacher Location: Mansfield (NG18) Start Date: 13/04/26 Contract: Full-time, long-term Salary: £150–£200 per day Class Mate is working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the NG18 area of Mansfield seeking a reliable EYFS / KS1 PPA Teacher to provide cover across Early Years and Key Stage 1. The Role • Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS and KS1 during PPA cover • Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment • Ensure pupils remain engaged and on task during lessons • Follow school policies and behaviour expectations • Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff The Ideal Candidate • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) • Experience teaching within EYFS and/or Key Stage 1 • Confident delivering lessons across different year groups • Strong classroom and behaviour management • Flexible and able to adapt quickly to different classes Requirements • QTS and relevant teaching qualification • Recent experience teaching within a UK primary school • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) • Ability to provide two professional references Why Join Class Mate? • Competitive daily pay • Long-term opportunities in supportive primary schools • Dedicated consultant support • Opportunities for further placements across local schools If you’re an experienced EYFS / KS1 Teacher looking for a flexible teaching role providing PPA cover, we’d love to hear from you
