Role Overview
Simply Education are recruiting a Primary Teacher for an Abingdon primary school. This position involves full teaching responsibilities, including lesson planning, marking, assessments, and participation in school meetings and events. You will deliver a broad and balanced curriculum, support pupil progress, and foster a positive and engaging classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons across KS1 and KS2
Mark and provide feedback on pupils' work following school policies
Track pupil progress and maintain accurate assessment records
Support pupils with SEN and other additional needs
Participate in staff meetings, parents' evenings, and after-school activities
Ensure the classroom is inclusive, safe, and stimulatingSkills & Experience:
Qualified teacher (QTS preferred)
Experience teaching primary pupils across multiple year groups
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
Strong planning, assessment, and feedback capabilities
Team player, flexible, and confident in full class responsibility
