The Role
As a Year 2 Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging, creative lessons aligned with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
Support pupils’ academic progress and emotional wellbeing
Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues
Maintain high standards of safeguarding and behaviour management

A confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
Enthusiastic, engaging, and approachable
Highly organised with excellent planning and time management
Passionate about education and pupil development
Skilled in behaviour management
Experienced in delivering the Key Stage 1 curriculum
Knowledgeable in safeguarding practices
Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
An Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce) on the Update Service
Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
The legal right to work in the UK
