Year 4 Teacher – Full-Time, Long-Term Opportunity
Location: Harrow
Salary: £34,398 – £46,839 (dependent on experience)
Start Date: September 2026

A well-regarded primary school in Harrow is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher to join its team from September 2026. Known for its inclusive ethos and strong commitment to pupil development, the school provides a supportive and welcoming environment where both children and staff are encouraged to succeed.

This long-term opportunity is suitable for experienced teachers as well as Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are keen to make a meaningful impact in Lower Key Stage 2 from the start of the new academic year.

The Role

As a Year 4 Teacher, you will create an engaging and supportive classroom environment that helps pupils build confidence, independence, and strong academic foundations as they progress through Key Stage 2.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging lessons in line with the Lower KS2 curriculum
• Differentiate teaching to support a range of abilities and learning styles
• Deliver high-quality teaching in core subjects including reading, writing, and mathematics
• Monitor pupil progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, effort, and achievement
• Work collaboratively with colleagues on planning, assessment, and curriculum delivery
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers
• Contribute to school activities and the wider school community

What We’re Looking For

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 4 experience desirable)
• Good understanding of the KS2 curriculum
• Strong classroom management and reflective practice
• A genuine commitment to supporting children’s learning and development
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
