Primary School Teacher - Tiverton, Devon Location: Tiverton, Devon Contract: Full-time, long-term (with potential to go permanent) Pay: Paid to scale (M1-UPS, depending on experience) Start Date: 20th April 2026 Prospero Teaching is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Primary School Teacher to join one of our welcoming partner primary schools in the Tiverton area. The Role Teaching a Primary class (year group can be matched to your strengths and experience) Planning and delivering engaging, creative lessons aligned with the national curriculum Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment Monitoring, assessing and supporting pupils' progress and development Working collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants and parents Contributing to wider school life, including clubs, events and enrichment activities The Ideal Candidate Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Strong understanding of the primary curriculum Passion for teaching and inspiring young learners Excellent classroom management and communication skills Positive, adaptable and proactive approach Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) What We Offer Paid to scale based on experience (M1-UPS) Support from a dedicated education consultant Free CPD including safeguarding, behaviour management and curriculum training A friendly, supportive school with strong leadership Opportunities for long-term or permanent progression IND-TEACH
