Primary Teacher
Primary Teacher Location: Manchester Agency: Empowering Learning Contract: Full-time / Long-term (with potential for permanent placement) Start Date: ASAP Empowering Learning are working in partnership with a primary school in Manchester to recruit a committed and resilient Primary Teacher. This role is ideal for a teacher who is confident in behaviour management and passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs. The Role: Teaching a primary-aged class with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and complex needs Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs Implementing consistent behaviour management strategies and positive behaviour support Creating a safe, structured and nurturing classroom environment Working closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs and external professionals Monitoring progress and adapting teaching to support academic and emotional development The Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent) Experience teaching in a primary or SEN setting (SEMH experience desirable) Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills Calm, patient and resilient approach to teaching Passion for inclusive education and supporting vulnerable learners What Empowering Learning Offers: Competitive daily rates Ongoing CPD and SEN-focused training Dedicated consultant support Opportunities for long-term and permanent positions This role would suit Primary Teachers, SEN Teachers, or Mainstream Teachers with strong behaviour management skills looking to move into SEN education. 📌 Safeguarding Statement: Empowering Learning is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
