Primary Teaching Assistants & Primary Teachers Needed – Sheffield & Rotherham

Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and development? Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistants and Primary Teachers to work across a variety of welcoming primary schools in Sheffield and Rotherham.

Due to a high demand from our partner schools, we are encouraging candidates to apply now for roles starting after the Easter holidays.

The Role

Support the delivery of engaging and creative lessons
Provide 1:1 support, including for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Help create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
Maintain high expectations of behaviour and learning
Work collaboratively with school staff to support pupil progress

What We’re Looking For

Experience working with children in an educational setting
A passion for supporting learning and child development
Strong communication and teamwork skills
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
A positive, flexible, and proactive attitude

What Teaching Personnel Offers

Competitive daily rates:

£95–£110 for Teaching Assistants
£140–£170 for Primary Teachers

Flexible work to suit your schedule (full-time, part-time, or day-to-day)
Weekly pay via PAYE
Ongoing support from a dedicated local consultant

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
