Position: Primary Teacher (KS1 / KS2)
Location: Derby
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible / Supply opportunities available
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience and role type
About the Role:
As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that inspire and support pupils' academic and personal development. You will work collaboratively with staff to create a positive learning environment where every child can succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum
Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress
Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff
Maintain strong behaviour management in line with school policies
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in a primary school setting (preferred)
Strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum
Excellent classroom management skills
A passion for teaching and supporting children's development
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
