Are you a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in primary education? Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting full-time Teaching Assistants to support a range of primary schools across South Sheffield, including the S2 area.
These roles are ideal for individuals passionate about supporting children’s learning, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Opportunities are available for both 1:1 support roles and small group interventions.
The Role:
Support pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 within the classroom
Provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs
Deliver targeted interventions and small group work
Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging activities
Support pupils with SEND, including ASD, ADHD, and speech and language needs
Help create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
We Are Looking For:
Previous experience working with children (school-based or similar)
A passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
A proactive and flexible approach to supporting learning
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA) are desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
