Revolve Collective is working closely with primary schools in Derby to recruit Teaching Assistants.
Our partners include Catholic primary schools that place emphasis on community, a nurturing environment and clear behaviour expectations. A Teaching Assistant’s contribution is practical: helping a child understand the next step, reinforcing an explanation and supporting participation without taking over the task.
A place in the classroom team
Working with the teacher, you’ll support whole-class activities, individuals and small groups. You’ll help reinforce literacy and numeracy, follow classroom routines and adapt support to pupils’ needs.
Accurate feedback matters too. You’ll share what pupils have understood, where they are struggling and any concerns requiring attention.
Experience that would be useful

Previous work supporting primary-aged children.
*
Knowledge of KS1 or KS2 classroom practice.
*
Phonics, small-group intervention or SEN/SEND support.
*
A Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant classroom experience.
Please include any Year 3 or Year 4 experience. Applicants should understand safeguarding responsibilities and be able to follow the school’s procedures and ethos.
