The successful Principal Firmware Engineer will have the opportunity to define and establish the underlying architecture, rather than stepping into a large, established engineering team. The Principal Firmware Engineer will take technical ownership and help lay the foundations for how the firmware evolves over time, making it well suited to someone comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy and influencing technical direction from the ground up. This position would suit a Principal Firmware Engineer who enjoys taking ownership of complex embedded systems and shaping technical direction within a growing product environment. Essential Requirements of a Principal Firmware Engineer * Strong experience developing embedded firmware in C/C++ * Experience defining or influencing firmware architecture * Solid understanding of embedded systems fundamentals * Experience with RTOS or bare-metal development * Comfortable working with high levels of autonomy and technical ownership Desirable Requirements of a Principal Firmware * Experience working on connected or IoT devices * Familiarity with ARM-based microcontrollers * Experience with Bluetooth or other wireless connectivity * Background developing firmware for consumer hardware or connected products If you feel you are suitable and interested in this role, APPLY NOW with an up-to-date CV.
