Principal Service Lead - Family Help & Integrated Family Safeguarding

Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Local Authority, who are looking to recruit an experienced Principal Service Lead to join their team based in West Midlands     JOB DETAILS PAY RATE: £500 -£550 day rate  WORK TYPE: Temporary WORK PATTERN: Full Time LOCATION: West Midlands      JOB SUMMARY As Principal Service Lead, you will play a pivotal role in building a strong, relationship-based, locality-driven model of support for children, young people, and families. You will strengthen and embed our Family Safeguarding model, improve outcomes through joined-up pathways, and provide confident senior oversight of practice, both in hours and as part of the out-of-hours leadership rota. JOB DESCRIPTION The duties and responsibilities of the role will include: Leading the integration of Family Help, Family Safeguarding, and Adolescent Safeguarding services Transitioning to a locality-based model with accessible, place-based support Championing high-quality, strengths-based, and trauma-informed practice Driving performance, quality assurance, and inspection readiness Building strong partnerships with Early Help, Police, Health, Education, and community services    THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies: Significant leadership experience in children’s social care Strong expertise in safeguarding and risk management A passion for early intervention and relational practice Commitment to innovation, transformation, and workforce stability Confidence to make complex decisions, including out-of-hours leadership Please be advised that only candidates that have the specific skills and experiences required for this role will be shortlisted and submitted to our client for review.
