We are working in partnership with a specialist independent school to appoint a Principal/Headteacher to lead a dedicated team supporting pupils with autism and associated learning needs.

This is a unique opportunity to lead a growing school in the Cheshire area, shaping its future while ensuring outstanding outcomes for pupils within a highly supportive and specialist environment.

The Role:

Provide strategic leadership and clear direction for the school
Lead on the quality of education, ensuring a broad, balanced and personalised curriculum
Promote a positive, inclusive and structured environment tailored to pupils with autism
Drive school improvement, maintaining high standards of teaching, learning and behaviour
Oversee safeguarding, compliance and regulatory requirements
Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team, including teaching and support staff
Work closely with external professionals, families and stakeholdersWhat We're Looking For:

Proven leadership experience as a Headteacher, Principal or Senior Leader
Relevant qualifications
Strong experience working with pupils with autism and/or complex needs
A deep understanding of specialist or independent school settings
Experience of school improvement, growth and managing change
Knowledge of safeguarding, SEND legislation and inspection frameworks
A passionate, resilient and child-centred approachAbout the School:
