Private Security Professional – Permanent Position (London Estate) A high‑profile, high‑net‑worth family is seeking an experienced Private Security Professional to join their dedicated protection team on a large estate in London. This is a permanent, long‑term role providing 24/7 close protection and estate security as part of a highly professional team. The position requires discretion, maturity, and excellent judgement, along with the ability to operate effectively within a close‑knit security unit. The role may include occasional short‑notice domestic travel within the UK and minimal international travel (EU/US). Key Responsibilities As part of the private security detail, duties will include: * Providing 24/7 protection for the estate, the family. * Patrolling the property and monitoring all access points. * Responding to alarms, incidents, and any unusual activity. * Controlling and monitoring visitor access. * Recording and reporting incidents, observations, and daily security logs. * Liaising with emergency services when required. * Handling calls and enquiries during duty hours. * Identifying, detaining, and managing intruders or potential threats. * Monitoring CCTV and advanced estate security systems. * Supporting safety responses, emergency procedures, and evacuations. * Providing discreet, confidential protection of property, vehicles, art, valuables, and the residents. About You The ideal candidate will have: * Minimum 5 years’ experience in close protection or personal security roles. * Valid and relevant security certifications and licences (e.g., SIA Close Protection). * Experience working with private households, UHNW/HNW clients, or family estates. * Strong teamwork skills and the ability to operate within a coordinated unit. * Excellent communication skills and a discreet, professional manner. * High levels of situational awareness and risk assessment capability. * Ability to remain calm, controlled, and decisive under pressure. * Verifiable references and proof of professional training/qualifications.
