I am currently recruiting on behalf of an automotive OEM, based in West Midlands, who are looking for a Process Engineer to join their team.
Job Description
As Process Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:
Application of Lean Manufacturing and Design principles.
Attend programme meetings at all levels and present where applicable.
Feasibility of designs to suit build requirements - Design for Assembly (DFA).
Build process strategy for manufacturing.
Planning, developing and implementation of all written Processes for manufacturing.
Experience Required:
Knowledge of and involvement in the product development phase.
Understanding of IPS requirements & Lean Manufacturing.
Relevant previous experience of Manufacturing / Engineering processes.
Experience in the application of a logical approach to Problem Solving.
Ability to deliver operational plans in a highly demanding environment.
