Apply NowZenith Are working with our client who are a Manufacturer based here in the North East and have an opportunity for a Process Technician working within Production.
Are you working in a production role and ready to take the next step in your career Our we are looking for a Process Technician to join our team and play a key role in improving processes, driving efficiency, and supporting manufacturing excellence.
The Role
This is a hands-on, problem-solving role where you'll:
* Support production by resolving process and performance issues
* Investigate root causes of problems and implement corrective actions
* Apply Lean principles and improvement tools (8D, 5Y, Ishikawa) to drive continuous improvement
* Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams
* Implement error-proofing (Poka Yoke) and process control improvements
* Create standards SOPs, 5s, CLs, CILs
Candidate Requirements
* Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
* Knowledge and practical use of Lean principles and continuous improvement tools
* Strong problem-solving mindset and proactive approach
* Ability to read drawings and understand process specifications
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team attitude
Formal qualifications (HNC, NVQ, etc.) are desirable but not essential - experience and attitude matter most.
